Sweet Energizer – Sustainable pollinators in action: Our bees are entering their second year
Floß, 19.08.2025. Our passion project, Sweet Energizer, continues to buzz—and grow! In addition to our two established bee colonies, we welcomed a third colony to our corporate family this summer. The total of around 120,000 bees not only perform valuable pollination work for native plants, but also actively contribute to preserving biodiversity in our region.
We were able to extract our highly sought-after honey again this year – even more jars than last year, so our bees seem to be thriving. Freshly bottled, creamy spring blossom honey is now available for our employees to purchase – regional, sustainable, and straight from our “own garden.”
Our bees are more than just honey suppliers: they are a symbol of environmentally conscious behavior and show how companies can actively take responsibility for nature on a small scale.
Here are a few facts to impress your friends at your next birthday party
• A single bee can pollinate up to 5,000 flowers per day – an invaluable contribution to the cycle of nature.
• To produce one kilogram of honey, our bees visit over six million flowers.
• Bees not only ensure the pollination of many crops, but also promote genetic diversity in ecosystems, making them more resilient to climate change.
