Nexans autoelectric group is growing against the trend.

Floß, August 2019. Despite the global decline in automobile sales, the Upper Palatinate supplier was able to increase its half-year revenue compared to the same period of the previous year. The globally operating business group generated sales of 240 million euros, with the strongest increase in the American market. 

In the second half of the year, according to general management, the high voltage segment – i.e. the equipment of electrical vehicles – is expected to show particularly strong growth. This trend will grow even stronger with the launch of further electric vehicles in 2020. The wire harness expert is also driving forward CO2 reduction in the conventional drive sector with material and weight savings as well as the use of recycled materials. Main customers include Audi, BMW, Daimler and GM. 

The group currently has 11.300 employees on four continents.
