Industrial Engineering Manager

Your Responsibilies:

  • Draft and design layout of equipment, materials, and workspace
  • Engineering changes management
  • Define the tools and equipment needs
  • Create and monitor the equipment and tools budget
  • Create procedures and work instructions
  • Develop manufacturing methods, labor utilization standards, and cost analysis systems to promote efficient staff and facility utilization
  • Participate in failure analysis teams and contribute to resulting solutions
  • Manage and facilitate transition of new product from engineering to production
  • Establish objectives, schedules and priorities in Manufacturing Engineering activities, and review staff based on their accomplishments toward these directions
  • Establish and meet schedules for the introduction of new methods, new products or cost reductions. Review the engineering change and release activity
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing methods and create process routings
  • Ensure processes contribute to a safe work environment
  • Identify and reduce product quality issues caused by process variation
  • Lead high impact process and quality improvement projects yielding significant reduction in defects and increased productivity
  • Lead sample built and pilot-run for new product. ( system routing upload ,  BOM check , material consumption , brake down study )
  • Utilize lean-manufacturing principles and participate in action workouts to improve process capability, reduce overall costs and increase capacity

Your Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering
  • 6+ years experience in industrial engineering
  • Minimum 3 years experience in automotive industry
  • 2+ years experience of leadership experience
  • Lean/Six Sigma training is preferred
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify root causes and provide efficient solutions
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle diverse activities simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Strong verbal and written bilingual (English a must; German is a plus) communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively and contribute to team projects
  • Strong project and team leadership
  • Experience in wire harnesses assembly is a plus
